(WCCU/WICS/WRSP) - After already setting up six non-conference games to open the season, the University of Illinois now knows its opponent for the Big Ten schedule.
The No. 8 Illini will open the 20 game Big Ten slate on December 15, with the conference tournament set to be held at the United Center March 10-14.

The Illini will open the season host North Carolina A&T, Wright State, and Ohio in a multi team event at the State Farm Center. Those games set for 1 pm, 11 am, and 12 pm start times on November 25-26-27.
Illinois has one final non-conference game still to be determined on Saturday, December 5.
After that, No. 8 Illinois has a pair of top ten showdowns, taking on No. 2 Baylor in the Jimmy V Classic at 9 pm on December 2, followed by a game at No. 9 Duke on December 8.
The Illini finish the non-conference schedule with the annual Braggin' Rights game against Mizzou on December 12. That game will be played in Columbia instead of St. Louis this season.
