The real party Peeps this New Year’s Eve were in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

We're talking about the marshmallow chick candies that are produced in the town.

Instead of a giant ball, the town dropped a giant 400-pound fiberglass Peep to mark the new year.

The drop happened at 5:15 p.m. Monday instead of at midnight. It was the culmination of the 10th annual Peepsfest, which lasted two days.

The Peepsfest included Peep slingshots and Peeps cornhole.
