SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) -- It's hard to imagine a better year for the Walt Disney Company as they'll likely finish with at least seven films having earned more that $1 billion at the worldwide box office. We've given Marvel and Star Wars their own gift guides. Here we'll focus entirely on "Frozen 2," "Toy Story 4" and the company's back catalog of princesses.

Toy Story 4

  • There are hundreds of Toy Story related toys on the market. One of my favorite lines is Mattel's 7" Figure collection that features just about every major character from "Toy Story 4." Many come paired or in sets of four. The only downside is that if you're buying for someone who is obsessive compulsive, like I tend to be, you'll have to track them all down. The Forky & Duke Caboom is at the top of my list (unless I can talk Santa Claus into the Toy Story Ultimate Gift Pack ).

The Lion King

  • "The Lion King" remake did remarkably well at the box office. The new version and the original animated classic were both released on 4K UHD Blu-ray this year.
  • Hasbro's FurReal Mighty Roar Simba is the sort of interactive plush toy that I would have loved as a child.

Descendants

  • The Descendants franchise follows the children of classic Disney villains as teenagers. 2019 saw the release of a third feature-length film and to celebrate Hasbro has released updated versions of Uma, Evie, Audrey and Mal as part of their Signature Doll line.
  • The Dragon Queen Mal deluxe figure with collapsible wings and removable headpiece is for the extra special Descendants fan.
