Champaign-Urbana

Oct. 27 | Urbana Business Association and Urbana Free Library will host a trick or treating event in downtown Urbana 1:00 PM- 5:30 PM on Friday. Families are invited to visit 35 downtown Urbana businesses to grab a treat and take advantage of special deals in each location. Participating businesses will be represented with balloons outside of their establishment and on the Trick or Treat map that can be found online on the Facebook event page, at the Urbana Business Association or the Urbana Free Library. The trick or treating event is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Oct. 31 | Halloween trick-or-treating hours for the City of Decatur will be on October 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Oct. 31 | 22nd Annual Trick n Trunk, Calvary Lutheran Church, 2055 S Franklin St. Rd., DECATUR) Bring the children to our inside, non-scary, and safe treat gathering event. We would love to have you as our guests. Our members will be handing out donated treats from station all throughout our facility. Contact 217-428-0641 with questions.

Springfield

Oct. 28 | Halloween at the Market: 9:30am - 12:00pm. This festive event wraps up the 2017 market season. Local organizations and businesses are combining efforts to create FREE, fun-filled activities for the whole family, including children and dog costume contests, hands-on activities, and special guests.

Oct. 28 | The Springfield Police and Fire Departments will hold their 4th annual Halloween Safety Event on October 28, 2017 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Fire Station #1, 825 East Capitol Avenue. Stay afterward to catch the first Halloween Parade that begins at 7:30 p.m. between Monroe and Jefferson on 5th and 6th Streets.

Oct. 29 | Trick or Treat Street: 1:00 - 4:00pm, Erin's Pavilion at Southwind Park. For children 12 and under, a free and safe place to dress up in their favorite costumes. Rain or shine. Dozens of local businesses will be on hand to provide entertainment, demonstrations, with tons of candy being handed out to all entrants. Alternative options will be available for children with food allergies.

Oct. 30 | Trick or Treat at SCHEELS: 4:00 - 7:00pm - Come dressed in your BEST costume and join SCHEELS and community partners for some Halloween Fun. Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt, Fun Games, Prizes, Candy & more! Unique Photo Opportunities. Fun for the whole family!

Oct. 31 | Halloween trick-or-treating hours for the City of Springfield will be on October 31, 2017 from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Residents who wish to greet trick-or-treaters may do so by turning on their porch lights. Homes without their porch lights on should not be visited.

Oct. 31 | Trunk or Treat (5:00 - 7:00pm; Our Savior's Lutheran Church and School Parking Lot, 2645 Old Jacksonville Rd. SPRINGFIELD) We are hosting this free, friendly, safe opportunity to dress up and have fun! We will have Trunk or Treat rain or shine (We will be in the Parish Hall if it rains).

Oct. 31 | Trunk or Treat(4:30 - 8:00pm; Jerome United MEthodist Church, 1570 Reed Ave., JEROME) The event will be held in the east side parking lot. This event is friendly, free and open to the public. Contact 217-487-7059 with questions.

Oct. 31 | Trunk or Treat (5:00 - 7:00pm; Trinity Lutheran School, 515 S. MacArthur Blvd, SPRINGFIELD) There will be a variety of tables/stations sponsored by Trinity ministry and fellowship groups. This event is an “all-weather” (adequate lighting, climate-controlled) event since it will be held in Trinity’s Parish Hall. Entrance is off the south parking lot, off of MacArthur Blvd. This event is free and open to the public.
